Clemenceau: Role In World War I

Initially, he accelerated his political career after returning from the United States and became a senator. Moreover, he addressed many small and big issues, such as labor strikes and other things. Even after becoming prime minister in the year 1906, he continued to serve his country. However, he entered the World war I by writing about it in his newspaper. Due to his comments, the government forced him to take down his paper, but he further launched another publication to express his feelings. In 1917, when the war conditions got worse, President of the country requested Clemenceau to step up and handle the war situation.

Paris Peace Conference

Georges handled the war situation from 1917 to 1918. However, there were many hurdles in his way because the western front war conditions were becoming worse. However, the main moto of Georges was to fight with the state of total war. Eventually, all the countries started dropping their weapons, and when Germans surrendered, everybody organized a peace conference. The President of the meeting was Clemenceau, and he spoke to all the countries. Thus, the treaty of Versailles marks the end of World War I.

Thus, World War I caused a lot of destruction, and people had to work hard to overcome their losses. However, the evolving industrialization helped in improving the economy, which turned out to be beneficial for the world.
