The Triggering

There were certain instances due to which the war started in the first place. World War 1 came as a result of The Assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, along with his wife Sophie, who was pregnant at that time. It was a planned Murder by the Serbian terrorist group, and that was enough to create the Ambience for World War 1. 

In addition to that, the Foreign Policy was something that triggered the war. There were a lot of significant differences between the policies, which actually what’s the main reason why the countries came together in two different teams and had conflicts. Maintaining the balance and power in Europe was becoming difficult, which is why the country was under utter turmoil. At first, the United States was not a part of the first world war, but later on, it joined. That is because about 128 Americans died, and the cause was a German submarine. The submarine hit a ship, and the passengers lost their lives. 

Talking about the fatality of war, 8 million soldiers passed away, and 21 million more got severe injuries. The Collateral Damage and casualty was enormous, which is why world war one still remains the most horrific incident in history. There was a lot of use of chemical weapons like mustard gas, which caused even more harm.
