According to historians, the war had officially begun when Franz Ferdinand, monarch of Austria, was assassinated by a Serbian nationalist. As a result, the empire of Austria declared war on the Serbs. The tension kept escalating, and thus global leaders started having their opinions on the war. Some of the leaders had fueled the war. On the other hand, some of them had made attempts to resolve the conflict. However, the battle kept escalating, and eventually, it led to one of the deadliest wars of human civilization.
World War One – How America Got Involved In The War?
Initially, America maintained a neutral stand on the conflict. However, the situation did not take a long time to change. In the year 1915, a terrible mishap happened, and that led to a change in the dynamics of World War 1. On that mentioned year, a German submarine had attacked a British cruise. Moreover, the attack leads to the killing of 123 Americans on that cruise. From this point, America also got involved in the war. Despite this incident, the USA had remained neutral. But, in 1917, it was actively engaged in the war.
